The Communications Committee is designed to share & exchange relevant information to the MRMA members. There are basically two avenues in which this information is shared: the monthly membership meetings and the MRMA website. Both are open avenues for businesses in MRMA to share their information among the association.
The Education Committee’s mission is to provide classes in technical as well as soft skills for all levels of people in manufacturing. The committee is to be responsive to the education needs of the association based on surveys, board input, as well as topics of interest that are time sensitive.
The Government Affairs Committee keeps tabs on state and national legislative issues that have an impact on the Manufacturing Community.
The MTI (Marion Technical Institute) Committee is a liaison between MRMA and MTI, with special consideration toward the Industrial Engineering Technology.
The Program Committee arranges and schedules tours and/or guest speakers for monthly general membership meetings. Factory tours and presentations shall attempt to focus on a specific area of manufacturing excellence if possible. The slate of events is to be presented to Board of Directors for approval. The committee is responsible for arranging facilities and food for all general meetings.
The Membership Committee actively solicits new MRMA members who represent our manufacturing community and surrounds these members with associate members whose expertise and professionalism will enhance and insure the success of the MRMA membership.
